Description

The Wallas 85DT is a high-quality, two-zone diesel ceramic hob designed for marine, campervan and other mobile installations. With a cooking output of 900–1900 W, the left-hand side provides the higher temperature for boiling and frying, while the right-hand side operates at a lower temperature for simmering.

A key feature of the 85DT is its flush-mount design. The aluminium edge sits just 2 mm above the worktop, creating a particularly neat and integrated finish within the galley.

Fuel can be taken directly from the boat or vehicle's diesel tank, removing the need to carry a separate cooking gas supply and making the 85DT an excellent choice for marine and off-grid installations.

Wallas 85DT vs 88DU

Although the Wallas 85DT and 88DU offer the same 900–1900 W cooking output and two-zone ceramic cooking surface, their installation and finishing styles differ.  The 85DT features an aluminium-edged flush-mount design, with the edge sitting only 2 mm above the worktop. This makes it particularly suitable where a neat, integrated galley installation is required.
